  Same idea — components with leads through the board (THT, through-hole technology); DIP is the common package style. No need to over-think the terms: tell us your board and we’ll handle it.

• Do you prefer SMT over through-hole?

  It depends on the design — we don’t push one process. We’ll advise honestly on what’s right for your product.
