Products our own development team took from requirements through engineering — each one shown with the product, the engineering work behind it, the manufacturing process, and what was tested where we have the records.

Each page states where the project stands — completed, or still in development, shown as it is rather than as we would like it to look. Every project here is client work, and it is published only where we can describe it accurately.

A project page is here to show the work, not to sell a service. But the two things behind every project on this page are the same: electronics product development — taking a requirement through engineering to a manufacturable product — and PCBA, the manufacturing chain that follows once a design exists.

What each project page shows

• The product — what it does, and what it is for
• How it works — the parts and decisions that decide whether it works at all
• Specifications — the numbers, written plainly
• What we developed — from concept and schematic through PCB, enclosure, assembly and testing
• What was tested — and what we would do differently next time

A project page carries only the sections we have the records for. Where we cannot describe a stage honestly, that section is left off rather than filled in. A project that is still in development shows only what has been done so far — no specification it does not have yet, and no results it has not produced yet.

Publishing client work

Everything on this page is client work. A project page goes deeper into the background, the requirements, the solution, the development and the testing behind a project — published once the client agrees to share the work.

• Why are there only a few projects here?

  Because we publish client work only where the client agrees and only where we can describe it accurately. That keeps this page short — and everything you can read here is real.

• Can you build something like one of these projects for me?

  Yes. These pages are examples of the work, not a catalogue — tell us what you need and we will tell you honestly whether we can do it.
